391007 - Bay Shore Sunset Hike
Join our Naturalist on a sunset guided hike at Bay Shore County Park! This family friendly hike will focus on the unique geology of Bay Shore Park as well as plant and animal identification. But that’s not all folks! We will end the evening around a cozy bonfire and roasting marshmallows! No registration needed, we'lll meet at the campground registration kiosk. This program is FREE to attend, please remember to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions (bug spray, chairs and flashlights are helpful but not necessary).

391015 - Wild Child Camp, Ages 5-9
Join us this summer as we offer 4 half days of outdoor summer camp! Each day our camp offers a variety of activities that will be educational and fun!
Day 1 - Day of Discovery
Get ready for a day of discovery! Campers will start the day by decorating their camp t-shirts. Then campers will be challenged to complete an ultimate scavenger hunt around the park.
Day 2 - Nature’s Treasures
Have you ever wanted to look for buried treasure? Here’s your chance! On this day we will talk about the basics of using a compass, map, landmarks, and clues, to find the “X” that marks the spot. Once the “X” is found, each team will work together to uncover their very own buried treasure!
Day 3 - Outdoor Challenges
This day is all about being challenged! To start our day we will work in small groups to how to build a fire, boil water and construct a shelter. Then for one last challenge we will head out to the woods to test our outdoor skills on an obstacle course!
Day 4 - Water Wonders
Bring a change of clothes because on this day the kiddos are sure to get wet and dirty! We will be exploring some of Barkhausen’s marshes, and learning about wetland creatures !
Registration Information: Camp cost is $80 per child for all 4 half days and includes a camper t-shirt. Be sure to provide the participant’s t-shirt (child size t-shirts) size when registering. Please remember preregistration is required and payment is to be made in full at the time of registration. Space is limited so please call 920-434-2824 to register and for more information.
A full refund will be given if cancelling prior to 2 weeks before camp start. If cancelling within 2 weeks of camp start a refund will be given less a $10 cancellation fee.

391018 - Pollinator Camp, Age 5-9
This summer camp is all about pollinators! Campers will learn about the monarch butterfly and the honey bee through a variety of hands on activities and crafts to take home!
Day 1- Introduction to the Honey Bee & Pollination
This day will focus on Wisconsin’s state insect the Honey bee and pollination. Campers will learn the Honey bee’s lifecycle, pollinate flowers around Barkhausen, and plant native seeds to take home!
Day 2 - Monarch Butterfly
The Monarch butterfly and milkweed are the stars of this day. Campers will learn the lifecycle of a Monarch, hunt for milkweed and caterpillars, create their own nursery, and go home with a caterpillar or eggs!

391019 - Naturalist Day
Calling all nature lovers, young and old, to become a junior naturalist for the day and explore during this FREE event!
A wide variety of tools including pond nets, microscope, field guides and binoculars will be available to use. Join us as we play bird bingo, coloring sheets, hold live animals and test your skills on an obstacle course! This event will provide the perfect balance of outdoor free play and purposeful educational lessons to keep your Junior Naturalists immersed and involved in the outdoors while having the ability to be creative and explore!
There is no pre-registration required and this program is FREE. There are numerous picnic tables if you wish to bring a lunch as well!

491011 - Goosebumps & S'mores Run
Join us for "Goosebumps on Gravel Pit Road" featuring the S’mores Fun Run/Walk, being held at Bay Shore County Park Campgrounds. Your registration includes a tote bag filled with a S’mores kit that can be used immediately after the run/walk at one of our bonfires.
Be sure to stick around while enjoying free refreshments and the sights and sounds of fall before Trick-or-Treating our campgrounds from 5-6:30pm. Costumes are not required, but they are welcome!
This is a pet-friendly event! Will be held rain or shine! $8/participant ages 5 and older. Ages 4 and under are free, but must still be registered for an accurate head count. Check-in will be held at the Shelter, please look for tables and bonfires.
